Success after 1 year of failure... "Japan's new main large rocket H3 launch success"
Japan has successfully launched its new flagship large rocket, H3. This achievement comes one year after a failed launch last year.
According to Japan's NHK report on the 17th, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) launched the second H3 rocket at 9:22 a.m. from the Tanegashima Space Center in Kagoshima Prefecture.
JAXA later announced around 9:40 a.m. that "the combustion of the second-stage engine, which failed last March, has been confirmed to have stopped," and that "the vehicle flew as planned and reached the target orbit."

The H3 is Japan's new flagship rocket designed to replace the currently operational H2A. It was jointly developed by JAXA and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. NHK explained that this is the first new development of a large Japanese rocket in 30 years, with development costs exceeding 200 billion yen.
