Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeong Wono) announced that it will operate a one-on-one customized 'Free Real Estate Expert Consultation Service' to help residents resolve questions closely related to real estate in their daily lives, ranging from real estate leases to surveying.
The real estate consultation service is operated by appointment via phone on the second and fourth Wednesdays of every month from 2 PM to 4 PM at the professional consultation room on the first floor of Seongdong-gu Office.
The consultation time is about 30 minutes per person, and professional consultants such as licensed real estate agents, appraisers, and cadastral surveyors with extensive knowledge of real estate law and consultation experience provide personalized one-on-one consultations.
The consultation covers all aspects of real estate, including real estate-related disputes, how to draft sales and lease contracts, individual official land price assessments, boundary disputes, and more, all provided free of charge without any separate consultation fees. If legal review is required during the consultation process, assistance can be obtained through the free legal consultation service operated by Seongdong-gu. When using the free legal consultation, residents can receive professional legal advice from Seongdong-gu’s affiliated advisory lawyers on real estate and lease matters as well as on bonds and debts, divorce, inheritance, disputes in multi-family housing, and other everyday legal issues.
Seongdong-gu has been operating the real estate expert consultation service since 2018. Up to 2023, a total of 291 consultations have been conducted, playing a significant role in reducing the economic burden of real estate consultations for residents.
