Expansion of Pediatric-Only Treatment Area and Ward Improvements
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) has stepped into a project supporting the emergency medical system for children and adolescents.
On the morning of the 13th, Busan Bank announced that it held a support delivery ceremony for the 'Pediatric and Adolescent Emergency Medical System' together with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation at Busan Medical Center in Yeonje-gu, Busan.
Attendees at the ceremony included BNK Busan Bank President Bang Seong-bin, Busan Mayor Park Hyung-jun, Busan City Council Chairman Ahn Seong-min, Busan Medical Center Director Kim Hwi-taek, and Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Busan Headquarters Director Kim Hee-seok.

View original imageThis project is aimed at building infrastructure that allows children and adolescents to receive 24-hour emergency medical care by expanding the pediatric-only treatment area within Busan Medical Center, a regional public hospital hub, supporting a transport minibus, and improving facilities.
At this delivery ceremony, Busan Bank announced it would provide 300 million KRW through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to create a comfortable environment for children and adolescents to receive treatment and to enable rapid emergency medical services.
Bang Seong-bin, President of Busan Bank, said, “I hope this emergency medical support for pediatric patients will help protect the health of precious families even a little,” and added, “We will provide practical support to create a Busan without medical blind spots.”
