Chonnam National University Produces Top Scorer Nationwide in National Dental Licensing Exam
Chonnam National University produced the top scorer nationwide in the National Dental Practitioner Written Examination.
Kim Geun-woo, a student scheduled to graduate this month from Chonnam National University School of Dentistry, scored 287.5 out of 300 on the written exam of the 76th National Dental Practitioner Examination held in January, ranking first among 778 candidates nationwide.
The National Dental Practitioner Examination consists of a practical test (process evaluation and result evaluation) and a written test, and candidates must pass both to obtain a dental practitioner license.

Chonnam National University School of Dentistry has assigned a faculty advisor to each student from the first year of the pre-dentistry program through the fourth year of the dental program, providing support for academics, daily life, and career guidance over seven years. Additionally, the school has made various efforts to improve learning conditions, such as replacing outdated clinical practice equipment and establishing a smart library.
