The Gwangsan Police Station in Gwangju Metropolitan City is gearing up to actively respond to election crimes ahead of the 22nd general election.
On the 7th, the Gwangsan Police Station established an 'Election Crime Investigation Situation Room' in the office of the Intelligent Crime Investigation Team and plans to maintain a 24-hour crackdown system.
For 80 days until April 26, after the election day, they plan to strongly crack down on the five major election crimes: bribery and acceptance of money or goods, spreading false information, public officials' involvement in elections, and election violence, illegal mobilization of groups, etc.
