Operation of 74 Hospitals and Pharmacies Open After Hours
On the 7th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it has established and will implement a comprehensive plan to respond to emergencies such as traffic, disasters, and medical situations during the Lunar New Year holiday.
The city has organized a comprehensive situation room consisting of ▲Situation Maintenance Team ▲Medical Measures and Infectious Disease Response Team ▲Disaster Safety Measures Situation Team ▲Special Traffic Measures Team ▲Low-income Life Protection Measures Team ▲Cleaning Measures Situation Team ▲Water and Sewage Emergency Situation Team, and plans to maintain a 24-hour emergency response system.
In particular, to establish an emergency medical system during the holiday period, the city has designated 74 hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies to operate 'Open Medical Institutions,' and plans to activate an emergency quarantine system to block waterborne and foodborne infectious diseases.
To prevent safety accidents, the city will inspect the safety management status of multi-use facilities such as large supermarkets, and will also conduct visits and encouragement for social welfare facilities for the underprivileged. The city added that it will also conduct on-site inspections for price surveys of holiday seasonal products and to establish distribution order during the holiday period.
