The Easy Text Books are part of the 'Appliance School Project,' designed to help slow learners and children with developmental disabilities easily learn how to use appliances safely and support their daily independence. The books consist of storybooks containing scientific principles and knowledge that can be discovered through appliances, and separate booklets focused on easy text and illustrations to help users understand and operate the products easily.
The Easy Text Books have been reviewed by special education teachers and are highly valued as teaching materials in frontline schools. The application rate from schools and educational institutions reaches 73%. The total cumulative number of copies requested and published for the four editions released so far has exceeded 10,000.
The newly published Easy Text Book for washing machines includes a 'Paper Play Kit' to enhance educational effectiveness. The 'Paper Play Kit' consists of paper models of the Tromm washing machine and various clothing items, allowing intuitive learning of how to use the washing machine.

LG Electronics plans to produce the Easy Text Books as e-books and English versions within this year.
