On the 6th, a video showing President Lee passionately singing at the 'Delicious Jeju Making (MatJeju)' project on the 3rd was posted on social media (SNS) and other platforms. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the MatJeju project is a win-win program in which Hotel Shilla collaborates with Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and local broadcasters to strengthen Jeju's food culture competitiveness and support small business owners in making a comeback.
At the event, President Lee passionately sang "Sarang-euro" by the singer Haebaragi. As she sang, attendees clapped along and sometimes sang the lyrics together. The video was reportedly posted on SNS by the child of Kim Ja-in, CEO of Haeseong Dotduri, which operates the 9th MatJeju branch.
CEO Kim wrote, "It was a very meaningful time making Delicious Jeju together with Hotel Shilla," adding, "Haeseong Dotduri will grow further and work even harder. Thank you very much, President Lee Boo-jin." It is also known that President Lee supported the families of restaurant owners by providing stays at Jeju Shilla Hotel and delivering Korean beef gift sets for Lunar New Year and 5 don of pure gold at the event.
Lee Boo-jin, President of Hotel Shilla, Lee Yoon-ji, owner of the 25th branch of Delicious Jeju Making restaurant, and Oh Young-hoon, Governor of Jeju Province, attended the reopening plaque ceremony of 'Dongmun Kalguksu,' the 25th branch of Delicious Jeju Making on Dongmun-ro, Jeju City, in May last year and took a commemorative photo.

Hotel Shilla employees provide customized consulting on cooking methods and customer service, and also completely replace kitchen facilities. Through this project, Hotel Shilla has supported a total of 26 restaurants up to last year.
