Distribution of Promotional Materials for Five Key Promises
Shin Seong-beom, a preliminary candidate from the People Power Party, announced on the 7th that he sent promotional materials by mail to 9,500 households in Sancheong, Hamyang, Geochang, and Hapcheon counties, as permitted by the Public Official Election Act.
Candidate Shin included the slogan "Change the region and revive the economy!" in the promotional materials, along with four pledges and five key promises for regional development.
The four pledges are ▲Leading local politics with inclusiveness ▲Always communicating with county residents ▲Fostering capable talents ▲Standing by the socially vulnerable.
Candidate Shin stated, "Population extinction is an urgent issue. Villages are disappearing, and young people leave their hometowns due to lack of jobs. Over the past eight years, I have met and listened to many people. We must change the region and revive the economy," and presented five key promises.
The five key promises include ▲Attracting secondary battery and electric vehicle parts companies ▲Supporting startups representing the region ▲Creating successful models for childcare, education, and elderly care ▲Incorporating farmers' voices into policies ▲Establishing a special committee on population extinction measures in the National Assembly.
