Netizens criticize large truck driver video continues
The image of a large truck driver speeding on the highway using his feet instead of hands has been revealed, sparking public outrage. On the 5th, JTBC Incident Squad reported, "This is a video shared in a car enthusiast club last January," introducing a driver of a 5-ton large cargo truck who dances the 'Giyeok Nieun (ㄱㄴ) dance' with his hands to the music, operates the steering wheel with his feet, and honks the horn with another foot. It is presumed that the remaining hand is used to record the video.

This video was posted in a car enthusiast club last January, and when one member joked, "I thought he was driving with his feet because he couldn't drive well, and it turns out he really is," the driver replied, "I learned to drive with my feet." Lawyer Baek Seong-moon expressed concern, asking, "How does he stop the vehicle during an emergency stop?" and added, "If an urgent situation arises, an accident will happen immediately." He further stated, "This is an extremely dangerous driving behavior that should never be allowed."

Netizens also reacted to the driver's 'foot driving' with comments such as "Whoever it is, they must be found and have their large vehicle license revoked," "If an accident happens like that, innocent other drivers will suffer," and "This is truly a nuisance on the road."
Article 48, Paragraph 1 of the Road Traffic Act stipulates that all drivers of vehicles or streetcars must accurately operate the steering device, braking device, and other equipment of the vehicle or streetcar, and must not drive at speeds or in ways that pose danger or obstruction to others according to traffic conditions and the structure and performance of the vehicle or streetcar. Driving with feet, as in this case, is an illegal act that fails to accurately operate the steering device and threatens other drivers. Punishment under Article 156 of the same law includes a fine of up to 200,000 won, detention, or a penalty charge.
