"Capturing the Universe with a Camera"‥KASI Hosts Astrophotography Contest
The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute is holding the 32nd Astrophotography Contest to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
This contest is open to everyone, and the categories include Deep sky, Solar system, Earth and space, and a special category commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute. Especially this year, creative content celebrating the institute's 50th anniversary is also being accepted.
Winners will receive plaques and a total prize money of approximately 10 million KRW. The winning entries of this year's astrophotography contest will be used in various promotional materials and the 2025 astronomical calendar.

Submissions can be made through the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute website until February 29. The winners will be announced in early April after judging.
