Shin Young-su Appointed as 9th President of the Integrated Logistics Association and CJ Logistics Korea Representative
Shin Young-su, CEO of CJ Logistics Korea Division, was appointed as the 9th president of the Korea Integrated Logistics Association, the association announced on the 5th.
On the same day, the association held its 2024 regular general meeting at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and elected Shin, who was recommended by the presidential nomination committee. Newly appointed President Shin said, "I will continuously strive to enhance government and public awareness of the changing logistics industry," adding, "I will do my best to protect the rights and interests of member companies and advance the logistics industry by actively reflecting the opinions of not only large corporations but also medium-sized and small logistics companies in policy proposals."
The Korea Integrated Logistics Association is a logistics organization with over 170 domestic logistics companies as members, including CJ Logistics, Hanjin, Lotte Global Logistics, LX Pantos, Hyundai Glovis, Cheonil Regular Freight Trucking, and Coupang. Shin will lead the association for two years starting in March. He joined Cheil Jedang in 1990 and served as CEO of CJ Logistics' parcel and e-commerce division in 2020.
