SH Corporation Revises Public Rental Housing Lease Contracts for Easier Understanding
Clarification and Specification of Lease Contract Contents and Rights and Obligations Relationships
Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) is making public rental housing lease contracts easier to understand. On the 5th, SH Corporation announced that it will revise and implement public rental housing contracts to make the contract contents and rights and obligations relationships easy and clear to understand.
A special contract condition will be newly established to include a user guide containing the rights and obligations related to the use of public rental housing in the public rental housing lease-use contract. The user guide will include ▲move-in period and procedures ▲operation of community facilities and parking lots ▲lessor and lessee obligations ▲repair cost burden and restoration ▲management fees, usage fees ▲cooperation obligations, and more.
SH Corporation stated, “The existing contracts were supplier-centered and included only brief information, making it difficult for the general public to understand,” adding, “With this contract revision, clarifying and specifying the contract contents will reduce the possibility of disputes and eliminate blind spots in public rental housing management.”
