Social Welfare Facilities, Masan Fish Market Visited Consecutively
On the 5th, Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, began communication with the public at the field by visiting Inae House, a local social welfare facility, and Masan Fish Market in succession ahead of Seollal, the traditional Korean Lunar New Year holiday.

View original imageThe first place visited that day, Inae House, has been a home for children since 1946. Currently, 33 children live there, and 21 staff members work together.
Mayor Hong listened to an explanation about the facility's status, spent time communicating with the staff, then toured the children's bedrooms and program rooms in order, personally checking for any inconveniences and expressing gratitude for the employees' hard work.
Mayor Hong said, “Despite difficult circumstances, I am grateful to the staff for their efforts to help the children become independent members of society. Changwon City will also actively support so that the children, who are the future protagonists, can grow up healthy and bright.”
Following this, Mayor Hong visited Masan Fish Market, purchasing seafood and other ritual items himself, and spent time communicating on-site with citizens and merchants who were at the market.
