Nambu University Curriculum Innovation Center, Multi-Major Operation Performance Analysis Sharing Meeting
The Curriculum Innovation Center of the Office of Educational Innovation at Nambu University announced on the 1st that it held the 'Multi-Major Operation Performance Analysis Sharing Meeting' on the 30th of last month at the Innovation Seminar Room in Sam-ae Hall, Nambu University.
Nambu University provides various opportunities to complete courses in the form of linked majors, convergence majors, First Mover Degrees, liberal arts degrees, and general double majors in addition to the primary major to enhance major competencies and strengthen employment competitiveness. Following last year, this year, the university additionally developed a total of four multi-major curricula: three First Mover Degrees and one convergence major.

The 'First Mover Degree' focuses on developing industry-academia joint practical curricula. The Nursing Department developed the 'Dementia Care Specialist Training Program,' the Department of Cosmetic Beauty developed the 'Beauty Media Marketing Creator Major,' and the Departments of Food and Nutrition and Hotel Culinary jointly developed the 'Senior Nutrition and Culinary Healthcare Program.' The 'Convergence Major' is an interdisciplinary curriculum offered by participation from two or more departments. The Departments of Physical Therapy, Social Welfare, Food and Nutrition, Hotel Culinary, and Sports Leisure jointly developed and plan to operate the 'Senior Life Care' major.
