Yeongsangang Cheong, Sharing Neighborly Love for Lunar New Year Celebration
In celebration of the Lunar New Year, the Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office visited the welfare facility for the disabled, ‘Boram-ui Jip,’ located in Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 1st, to practice neighborly love and sharing.
‘Boram-ui Jip’ was established in July 1998 and is a facility that helps individuals with intellectual disabilities develop their potential through various programs and facilities, enabling them to fulfill their rights and duties as members of society.
The Yeongsangang River Basin Environmental Office makes efforts every year through holiday visits to contribute to the local community and spread a culture of sharing. This Lunar New Year, they delivered daily necessities such as detergent, bleach, and wet wipes needed for facility operations.
