If You Recharge SuwonPay in February, Get a 10% Incentive
The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province is increasing the incentive rate for 'Suwon Pay' to 10% from the 1st to the 29th of this month in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday. The recharge limit is 300,000 KRW.
During this period, if citizens deposit up to 300,000 KRW into their Suwon Pay account, they will receive an additional 30,000 KRW incentive, allowing them to recharge a total of 330,000 KRW.
Suwon Pay is a local currency in the form of a rechargeable prepaid card. By registering it on the Samsung Pay app, users can make mobile payments conveniently without a physical card.
It can be used at traditional markets within the city that have credit card terminals, small business establishments with annual sales under 1 billion KRW (such as supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants), and through the Baedal Tteuk app (online payment).
