[Concall] POSCO Holdings "Considering All Possibilities to Respond to Imported Steel"
POSCO Holdings stated at the earnings presentation on the 31st that "imported steel sheet products surged by more than 20% in the domestic market last year," adding, "We are keeping all possibilities open and reviewing them at this stage to protect the crude steel industry."
They continued, "The intention is to prevent unfairness caused by low-priced imports distorting domestic prices," and added, "Compared to other countries, South Korea does not have high import barriers, and the manufacturing base using imported steel materials in industries such as shipbuilding and automobiles is solid."
