Public late-night pharmacies operate 365 days a year from 10 PM to 1 AM the next day, providing medical access during vulnerable nighttime hours. These pharmacies operate to prevent misuse and overuse of medicines through pharmacists' medication guidance, provide convenience in purchasing medicines, and help alleviate overcrowding in emergency rooms.
Meanwhile, to provide prompt medical services to pediatric patients during nighttime and holidays, the city operates two 'Moonlight Children's Hospitals' at Dongtan St. Mary's Hospital and Best Kids Hospital within the jurisdiction. The Moonlight Children's Hospital at Dongtan St. Mary's Hospital operates from 8:30 AM to 11 PM on weekdays and from 9 AM to 6 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Best Kids Hospital operates from 8:30 AM to 10 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
