Kyowon Group Donates Hope Books Worth 400 Million KRW
Kyowon Group announced on the 31st that it has started its first social contribution activity of the new year by donating hope books worth 400 million KRW.
Kyowon Group is partnering with Save the Children to carry out a book support project for children from vulnerable groups. They plan to deliver 900 sets of children's books, including popular series such as Soltoyi and Red Pen, to a total of 300 child welfare facilities nationwide, including children's centers and group homes.
Kyowon Group has continued sharing activities to help close the educational gap among children and support neighbors facing economic and emotional difficulties. In particular, to promote proper reading habits among children and adolescents in local communities, they have been conducting the book support project since 2003. To date, Kyowon Group has supported approximately 500,000 books. In 2024, they plan to continue various social contribution activities to spread positive influence in local communities and realize the value of coexistence.
