Cho Kuk's Daughter Cho Min Engaged to Non-Celebrity Boyfriend... "Wedding in the Second Half of This Year"
Cho Min (32), the daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk (58), has become engaged to a boyfriend of the same age who is a private citizen.
On the afternoon of the 30th, Cho revealed through her YouTube channel, "I got engaged to my boyfriend, whom I have been dating for about eight months since May last year. We plan to get married in the second half of this year."
Cho said, "My boyfriend is the same age as me, has no connection to politics, and is not a public figure," adding, "He is a hardworking person. I want to protect his privacy so that he does not suffer any harm."
She continued, "He is kind and always supports me. I felt that there is no one better than him as a lifelong friend and partner."
She stated that she will share the wedding preparation process through YouTube videos and also released footage of her dating her boyfriend. In this video, her boyfriend's face was not shown.
Former Minister Cho wrote on Facebook that day, "My partner is a young man who stood firmly by my daughter during difficult times. We got engaged with the blessings of both families," and added, "I wish happiness fills the future of these two youths. I deeply thank those who sent congratulatory messages."

Cho is currently on trial along with her mother, former Dongyang University professor Jung Kyung-shim (62), for submitting a falsified application to the admissions office of the Busan National University School of Medicine in June 2014, which obstructed the admissions evaluation process by the committee members.
