Amazon Prime New Series 'Butterfly' Cast Announcement
Actors Kim Tae-hee and Park Hae-soo are making their debut in Hollywood, USA. According to their agencies Story J Company and BH Entertainment on the 30th, they will appear in the new Amazon Prime Video series "Butterfly." The drama depicts a chase between David Jung (Daniel Dae Kim), a former U.S. intelligence agent shrouded in mystery, and Rebecca, a current agent ordered to kill him. It is based on a comic of the same name. Both actors are expected to perform their lines in English. Their specific roles have not been disclosed.

Kim Tae-hee debuted as a commercial model in 2000. She gained popularity by appearing in dramas such as "Stairway to Heaven," "IRIS," "Yongpal," "Hi Bye, Mama!," and "The House with a Yard." Park Hae-soo debuted in 2007 with the play "Annapurna." He gained recognition through films like "Minority Opinion," "Master," and "Quantum Physics," as well as dramas such as "Six Flying Dragons" and "Prison Playbook." He rose to global stardom by playing Cho Sang-woo in Netflix's "Squid Game." He was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 74th Emmy Awards. Building on this, he signed with UTA, one of the four major American talent agencies, and has been pursuing overseas expansion.
