Gwangju Kyungsilryeon "Welcomes Route Change of Metropolitan Railroad Passing Through Hyochon Station"
Gwangju Economic Justice Network stated on the 30th, "We actively welcome the agreement to change the Gwangju-Naju metropolitan railway route to pass through Hyochon Station."
Gwangju Economic Justice Network introduced, "Jeonnam Province recently reportedly accepted the opinion of Gwangju Metropolitan City to halt the preliminary feasibility study for the metropolitan railway excluding 'Hyochon Station.'"
They evaluated this as "It is regarded as a decisive decision by Governor Kim of Jeonnam Province to include Hyochon Station in the metropolitan railway route, and we sincerely welcome it."
The organization stated, "This decision reflects Jeonnam Province's acceptance of Gwangju City's claims, and it is expected to contribute to regional cooperation and balanced development," adding, "Moreover, it has become a good example of win-win cooperation between Gwangju and Jeonnam."
