Donation of 5 Million Won for Hometown Love Fund to Changwon City
Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced on the 30th that the second highest annual donor for the Hometown Love Donation Fund this year has been born.
The Hometown Love Donation System allows individuals to directly donate up to 5 million KRW annually to local governments other than their registered address.
The high-value donor this time is Gong Young-don, CEO of Inain Powertech.
CEO Gong was born in Changwon and strongly sympathized with the purpose of the Hometown Love Donation System, willingly making a donation by directly accessing ‘Hometown Love e-um’ online.
Changwon City plans to create and display a nameplate in the ‘Changwon City Hall of Fame’ to cherish the gratitude of the high-value donor.
Jo Young-wan, head of the Taxation Division, said, “We express our gratitude to everyone who donated the Hometown Love Donation Fund to Changwon, and we will thoroughly ensure that the precious donations are used transparently and where needed through the review of the ‘Changwon City Hometown Love Fund Management Committee.’”
