Bin Hyeonjun Inaugurated as the 8th Director of Honam Regional Statistics Office
Bin Hyeonjun, the 8th Commissioner of the Honam Regional Statistics Office, held an inauguration ceremony on the 30th and officially began his duties.
The newly appointed Commissioner Bin graduated from the Department of Anthropology at Seoul National University and earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
He entered public service through the 47th Administrative Examination and is recognized as a statistics expert who has held key positions such as Director of the Statistics Office Operations Support Division, Director of the Industrial Trends Division, Director of the Statistics Policy Division, and Director of the Employment Statistics Division.
At the inauguration ceremony, Commissioner Bin expressed his ambition, saying, "We will do our best to play a role in becoming a regional statistics hub and think tank institution by providing in-depth analysis and specialized statistics related to major policy issues in the Honam and Jeju regions."
