Jeju Coast Guard Distributes 'Safety Calendar' on Six Major Marine Accidents of Last Year
Jeju Coast Guard Station (Chief So Byung-yong) announced on the 30th that it conducted a safety accident prevention campaign by distributing safety calendars with monthly background images themed on the six major maritime accidents (collision, flooding, capsizing, sinking, fire, grounding) that occurred in Jeju last year to fishing vessels in the Jeju area.
The distributed safety calendar uses background images of accident cases that occurred last year, aiming to raise awareness among ship operators as well as provide information on accident prevention methods and reporting procedures for ship personnel, thereby promoting safety education.
