Gwangju Seobu Fire Station, Inspection Visit to Large-Scale Construction Sites
The Seobu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City visited the construction site of Sangmu Central Xi apartment complex in Ssangchon-dong to urge fire prevention during the winter season.
Due to the nature of the environment, the construction site stores a large amount of flammable materials, and sparks generated during welding or cutting work can ignite nearby materials, potentially leading to a fire.
In particular, since sparks that scatter and attach to flammable materials can ignite even after a considerable amount of time has passed, it is crucial for workers to strictly follow safety regulations.
The main inspection points included ▲ urging safety management to prevent large-scale fires at construction sites during winter ▲ prohibiting simultaneous handling of flammable materials such as insulation and open flames ▲ education on rapid initial response and securing evacuation routes in case of emergencies ▲ and thorough safety management of fire risk factors for related personnel.
