Jin District Mayor: "Actively Support the Red Cross Engaged in Various Activities Based on Humanitarian Ideals"
Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo District, delivered a special Red Cross membership fee of 1 million won for 2024 to the Seoul Metropolitan Chapter of the Korean Red Cross on the 29th.
The delivery ceremony was held in the mayor's office with the attendance of An Soon-bok, President of the Gangseo District Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Association, Kim Jeong-ae, Vice President, and Park So-young, Director of the Seoul Chapter of the Korean Red Cross. The funds raised on this day will be used for disaster relief and support for vulnerable groups.
Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "I express my gratitude to the Korean Red Cross, which works hard for marginalized neighbors based on humanitarian ideals," and added, "We will actively support the improvement of difficulties faced by the Gangseo District Council of the Korean Red Cross Volunteer Association and their active activities."
