Notably, in February 2021, they advanced the 'Happy Win-Win Project' signed with Nonsan City, Chungnam Province, by launching a cake containing the 'Vitaberry' variety grown by young farmers in Nonsan. Vitaberry is a new variety developed in 2019 by the Strawberry Research Institute of the Chungnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services for export purposes.
This fruit is characterized by its high hardness, aroma, sweetness, and vitamin C content. SPC's Research and Development (R&D) Center collaborated with the Chungnam Strawberry Research Institute and Nonsan City to optimize Vitaberry as a variety suitable for bakery products. A Paris Baguette representative stated, "Beyond the existing purchase and productization of agricultural products, we will expand various activities to strengthen the competitiveness of farms through the expansion of new varieties and enable the company to grow together."
