Noh So-young Uncomfortable with Jirasi "Really Tired... Just Interested in Education Like All Parents"
Denies Running for Superintendent Election
Is Chairman Chey Tae-won Trying to Gain Advantage in Divorce Trial?
No So-young, director of Art Center Nabi, stated that she "will not run in the superintendent election." Earlier, when No posted a message related to child education on social media (SNS), rumors about her candidacy arose, prompting her to draw a clear line.
On the 24th, No shared on Facebook an anecdote from the past, saying that when her first child was young, she followed the private education trends of housewives in Gangnam, but her father-in-law (the late Choi Jong-hyun, former chairman of SK Group) scolded her, saying she was "making the child do unnecessary things."

She wrote, "Children need guidance, but it must be based on values," and "Even if it is unpleasant to hear at the time, it preserves parental authority and helps children grow up properly."
Following this post, rumors circulated that No had posted it with the intention of running for the superintendent election. The rumors also suggested that winning the superintendent position was a strategy to improve her social standing and gain an advantage in her divorce lawsuit against Choi Tae-won, chairman of SK Group.
In response, on the 26th, No expressed on Facebook, "I am really tired," and said, "Like all parents in this country, I posted because I care about the future and education."
She stated, "I will not run in the superintendent election," adding, "As the rumors say, I am well aware that I lack both the qualifications and the ability."
She further added, "However, through Art Center Nabi, I plan to expand the 'Creativity in the Age of Technology' education, which I have been continuously developing for over a decade, by finding partners and collaborating," and said, "This is my calling and my capacity."
Meanwhile, Choi Tae-won, chairman of SK Group, and No are continuing their divorce lawsuit. The first trial accepted No's divorce petition, ordering Choi to pay 100 million won in alimony and 66.5 billion won in cash as property division, but both parties appealed, and the second trial is ongoing.
