KOSHA Busan Headquarters Shares Building Management Safety and Health Information
Ten major building management companies in Busan have gathered to establish a safety and health system.
The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Head: Gong Heungdu) held a meeting on the 25th with the top 10 building management companies in the Busan area, focusing on establishing a safety and health system.
About 15 representatives and management officers of building management companies attended the meeting. They shared information on ▲ safety and health accident cases and prevention measures in building management, ▲ safety and health management systems, and ▲ support projects by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency such as Health Stepping Stones and Healthy Workplace (support for special health examination costs, financial support).
Additionally, the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency announced plans to form a safety and health council for building management companies to share emergency communication and response methods in preparation for industrial safety and health issues such as acute poisoning and suffocation.

Head Gong Heungdu stated, “Building management is an industry vulnerable to industrial accidents, with many fatal accidents occurring during confined space work or mobile ladder work,” and added, “We will actively support building management stakeholders to smoothly establish self-regulatory prevention systems and safety and health systems through agency support projects and technical guidance.”
