206% Increase Compared to the Offering Price
HB Investment, a first-generation venture capital (VC) firm in Korea, succeeded in achieving a so-called 'double' (a 2x increase compared to the public offering price) on its debut day on the KOSDAQ on the 25th.
As of 9:23 AM that day, HB Investment was trading on the KOSDAQ at 10,430 KRW, up 7,030 KRW (206.76%) from the public offering price of 3,400 KRW.

HB Investment is a first-generation VC established in 1999. It diversifies its investments across high-tech, software, and bio (healthcare) sectors. Recently, Jongseon Park, a researcher at Eugene Investment & Securities, stated, "The company records high profitability through exit strategies suited to market conditions," adding, "Based on stable fund management, it secured high profitability and achieved the highest operating profit margin in the industry as of Q3 last year. It was also ranked first in the industry for VC exit performance in the first half of the same year."
