Card Usage Types Explained Like MBTI

The 'SsenBTI Card Usage Types' feature of 'The Ssen Card,' which informs users of their card usage types like MBTI (personality type test), has gained popularity with over 5,000 reviews since its launch earlier this month. The Ssen Card is a service that matches card usage performance using MyData with a database (DB) of all domestic card benefits accumulated over more than three years to guide users on maximizing benefits such as points accumulation and discounts based on card usage.

MyData company Hecto Innovation announced on the 25th that it provides the 'SsenBTI Card Usage Types' through the 'The Ssen Card Year-End Settlement' service, which analyzes card usage history from last year to guide ways to maximize card benefits in 2024. Through SsenBTI, users can easily diagnose their consumption types.

SsenBTI shows card usage types similarly to MBTI, which analyzes personality into 16 types based on four criteria. By combining four key card payment characteristics ? consumption type (online vs. offline payment ratio), preferred performance (payment ratio of performance cards vs. non-performance cards), preferred card benefits (preference between points and discounts), and benefit rate (benefit method) ? a total of 16 card usage types such as ISTJ and ENFP are revealed.

The Ssen Card operates various services to maximize card benefits. It helps manage card payments and benefits through features like 'The Ssen Benefit Ranking,' where users check benefits received with each payment and compete in weekly rankings for well-benefited payments, and 'The Ssen Benefit Report,' which reviews monthly card payment history and benefits. Additionally, by using 'Benefit Finder,' which aggregates card company events and partnership benefits, users can enjoy greater benefits by using cards that fit their consumption patterns.

With the year-end tax settlement season approaching, The Ssen Card's 'Usage History' feature is also gaining attention. By comparing the card deduction data from the simplified year-end tax settlement service with The Ssen Card's usage history, users can easily check for any missing information. Regular use also helps manage the usage ratio between debit (check) cards and credit cards, which have different deduction rates, thereby increasing the year-end tax deduction amount.

A representative of The Ssen Card said, "If you understand your card usage type and focus on ways to receive more card benefits, you can practice smart consumption in 2024. We hope users check through The Ssen Card whether they are missing any card benefits, including the 100 billion KRW in card points that disappear every year."

The '2023 The Ssen Card Settlement' service is ongoing until the end of this month, featuring generous events such as prize giveaways and card recommendations with up to 360,000 KRW cashback.
