Jungjingong Recruiting Participating Companies for 'Structural Innovation Support Project' to Promote New Business Transformation
Online Applications Open from the 30th
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 25th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the '2024 Structural Innovation Support Project' to support structural transformation into new business areas that can secure corporate competitiveness.
The Structural Innovation Support Project is a package program that supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in entering new business fields to prevent rapid industrial environmental changes such as carbon neutrality, digital transformation, and global value chain (GVC) restructuring from leading to management crises.
Specifically, it supports ▲ business transformation consulting for transitioning to new business areas ▲ digital transformation consulting to enhance digital capabilities ▲ industrial and job transition consulting to actively respond to changes in the labor environment ▲ and follow-up linked projects.
Participating companies receive diagnoses from experts on their level of response to structural innovation and the feasibility of business transformation, and can establish a structural innovation roadmap through customized consulting tailored to the company's level. Subsequently, through the Small and Medium Business Corporation, they receive linked support such as business transformation approval, business transformation funds, tax benefits, preferential treatment in smart factory support projects, and labor transition employment stability agreement subsidies.
From this year, the Small and Medium Business Corporation has improved the application method for each stage, including diagnosis, consulting, and business transformation approval, to a 'one-stop batch application method' to reduce the paperwork burden on companies. In addition, it plans to increase participant satisfaction by directly recruiting competent consultants in specialized fields to provide high-quality consulting.
Furthermore, business transformation approval, which previously required a mandatory change of industry, is now recognized even when transitioning to new business areas within the same industry, and the 17-year business age application restriction has been abolished.
Eligibility for the Structural Innovation Support Project application is SMEs with five or more regular employees wishing to transition their business, digital capabilities, or jobs. This year, support will be provided to approximately 1,000 companies for diagnosis and 1,040 companies for consulting, with no cost burden on participating companies.
