Changwon Special City Holds Steering Committee Meeting to Select Candidates for Using Promotional Media
Promotion Starting February at 1,125 Locations Including City Bus Stops in the District
Through Promotional Media
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held a Public Relations Media Operation Committee meeting on the 24th in the city hall conference room to select candidates for the use of promotional media owned by the city.
The Public Relations Media Citizen Opening Project is a program that opens some of the promotional media owned by Changwon City, such as city bus stop billboards, promotional electronic display boards, the city administration promotion system (DID, Digital Information Display), and bus information systems, to small local businesses, non-profit corporations, and organizations struggling with promotion. It supports the production, attachment, and broadcasting of advertisement designs free of charge.
The selection of users for the promotional media was reviewed by the Changwon City Public Relations Media Operation Committee, composed of experts in related fields such as professors and journalists.
The selected entities include 20 corporations and organizations such as the Gyeongnam Regional Self-Support Center, Masan Senior Job Creation Support Center, Changwon Disabled Human Rights Center, and Gyeongnam Gambling Problem Prevention and Treatment Center.
The selected corporations and organizations will promote their messages on a total of 1,125 media outlets owned by the city, including city bus stop billboards, bus information systems, and the city administration DID system, for six months from February to July.
Choi Jeong-gyu, the Public Relations Officer, stated, “We will do our best to support promotional assistance for socially vulnerable groups such as the disabled, single mothers, small business owners, and the elderly, and provide accurate information on social issues such as population, gambling, and education to effectively help non-profit organizations.”
