Governor Gu Bok-gyu stated, “Since fires in apartments can lead to large-scale damage, thorough and regular inspections must be continuously conducted to preemptively eliminate risk factors. We also hope that all residents will adhere to fire prevention rules such as prohibiting smoking inside apartments, exercising caution when using heating devices, and not placing personal belongings in evacuation spaces.”
