Last year, the county collected 154 residents' opinions through the dialogue with residents and has been continuously monitoring the progress of departmental initiatives on residents' suggestions and long-standing projects on a quarterly basis.
Kim Hee-su, the governor of Jindo-gun, plans to share the key achievements of the county administration made with residents last year, the 2024 administrative vision, and major administrative operation plans.
Additionally, the county aims to create a comfortable atmosphere and encourage open and sincere conversations with residents to broadly collect inconveniences in daily life and suggestions by sector, reflecting them in county administration.
This year's dialogue with residents is the second such event since Governor Kim Hee-su took office, providing an opportunity for the governor and senior officials to hear residents' voices on-site up close.
Governor Kim Hee-su said, "To communicate by listening carefully even to the smallest voices of residents, we will strengthen empathetic administration that closely observes and accompanies residents' daily lives by holding this dialogue with residents and meeting them at eye level. We ask for the valuable opinions and support of all residents to make Jindo a better place where residents are the owners."
