KOSPI Rises on Foreign and Institutional Dual Net Buying... Closes at 2478
The KOSPI rose on the combined net buying by foreigners and institutions.

By investor type, foreigners and institutions net bought 141.3 billion KRW and 205.6 billion KRW respectively. Meanwhile, individuals net sold 359.1 billion KRW.
By sector, securities, insurance, transportation equipment, and non-metallic minerals rose more than 1%. In contrast, telecommunications and electrical electronics slightly declined.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, Samsung Electronics closed at 75,200 KRW, up 100 KRW (0.13%) from the previous trading day. Along with this, KB Financial jumped 4.26%, while Hyundai Motor and Kakao rose more than 2%. POSCO Holdings and LG Chem also increased by more than 1%. On the other hand, SK Hynix and Celltrion fell more than 1%.
On this day in the KOSPI, a total of 485 stocks rose, including 3 stocks such as UniqueQuest that hit the upper price limit. Meanwhile, 381 stocks declined without hitting the lower price limit, and 71 stocks remained unchanged.
The KOSDAQ closed at 840.11, up 0.42 points (0.05%) from the previous trading day.
By investor type, foreigners and institutions net sold 47.3 billion KRW and 5.8 billion KRW respectively. Meanwhile, individuals net bought 62.7 billion KRW.
By sector, broadcasting services, digital content, and publishing/media reproduction rose more than 2%. Additionally, pharmaceuticals and computer services increased by more than 1%. In contrast, general electrical electronics fell 2.11%, and non-metallic and paper/wood sectors declined more than 1%.
Among the top market capitalization stocks, EcoPro BM closed at 239,500 KRW, down 8,500 KRW (3.43%) from the previous trading day. LS Materials dropped 7.41%, while Celltrion Pharm, Rainbow Robotics, and EO Technics fell more than 2%. EcoPro, Rino Industrial, and Solbrain also declined more than 1%. On the other hand, Lunit rose 8.21%, and HLB and HPSP increased 7.02% and 6.47%, respectively.
