Neurologist Kim Baekgyun Invited to 'Icheon Lifelong Academy' to be Held on the 7th of Next Month

Ichon City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the 217th Ichon Lifelong Academy on the 7th of next month at the Small Theater of Ichon Art Hall, inviting Kim Baek-gyun, Head of the Neurology Department at Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Ichon Hospital.
The lecture, titled "Prevention and Treatment of Stroke," will introduce the golden time for stroke, its causes, treatments, and preventive measures.
A city official explained, "Stroke is one of the top three causes of death in Korea and is the leading cause of death among single diseases due to its high frequency. With an aging population, approximately 105,000 stroke patients occur annually, so this lecture was organized to provide information on this matter."
The Ichon Lifelong Academy is free to attend without prior registration by visiting Ichon Art Hall. On the day of the lecture, participants who complete a satisfaction survey will be entered into a draw where 20 people will receive a 10,000 KRW coffee gifticon.
