Chosun University Rated 'Excellent' in Customized Employment Service Annual Performance Evaluation
Chosun University announced on the 19th that it received the highest rating of "Excellent" in the "2023 Annual Performance Evaluation of Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students," hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Employment Information Service.
The Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students project supports tailored employment services at each stage from admission to graduation, promoting smooth entry of youth into the labor market.
In 2023, Chosun University participated in the nationwide University Job Plus Center project and was one of the 12 universities selected out of about 100 universities receiving national funding to operate the pilot project for customized employment services for enrolled students.
Through the 2023 pilot project, Chosun University carried out the "Build-Up Project" for 1st and 2nd-year students (lowerclassmen), supporting job care AI career exploration and the creation of job portfolios necessary for career and job exploration, and the "Jump-Up Project" for 3rd and 4th-year students (upperclassmen), supporting job care AI employment competency diagnosis, employment skills, curricular and extracurricular programs needed to strengthen employment capabilities, and the establishment of Individualized Employment Activity Plans (IAP).
Based on being selected as an excellent university in this annual performance evaluation, Chosun University is expected to be selected for the full-scale 2024 Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students project and continue the initiative.

President Kim Chunsung stated, "Since we received an 'Excellent' evaluation in the 2023 pilot project for the Customized Employment Services for Enrolled Students, we will further strengthen early career setting for enrolled students and employment activity support for upperclassmen through the full-scale project in the future."
