Ulsan City Announces 60 Million KRW Private Subsidy Contest for Health Promotion Sector
Ulsan City has announced the support plan for the public contest project for private subsidies in the field of health promotion for the first half of this year and is accepting applications until February 1. A total of 60 million KRW will be supported this year.
The public contest project for private subsidies is a project that selects and supports private organizations such as corporations or groups as subsidy operators through a public contest procedure.
The contest fields include projects related to citizen health promotion such as public health, health, mental health, infectious disease prevention and response, hygiene, medicine, and food safety.
The subsidy is up to 50 million KRW per project, and applicants must bear at least 10% of the total project cost themselves.
Eligible applicants are corporations or organizations with support regulations under laws or city ordinances, or corporations and organizations whose main purpose is public interest activities, with at least one year of public interest activity performance in the past year. If the applicant is a non-corporate organization, it must have a representative or manager.
However, organizations that can carry out projects independently without subsidy support, those aimed at social gatherings or profit, organizations supporting specific political parties or elected candidates, or those aiming to propagate doctrines of specific religions are excluded from support.
Also, submissions that include organization operating expenses, capital formation expenses, or overseas travel expenses as projects are excluded from eligibility.
Organizations wishing to apply should prepare the application form, project plan, and subsidy operator introduction, and submit them by visiting the department in charge of the Citizen Health Bureau for the project they wish to apply for or by mail.
