Seoul City to Recruit Record 5,600 Participants for Life's Second Act 'Boram Jobs'
Seoul City announced on the 19th that it will recruit 5,600 people this year for the 'Boramiljari' program, which provides middle-aged and older adults with opportunities to contribute to the local community and find employment.
Boramiljari is a social contribution job program that utilizes the experience and expertise of middle-aged individuals aged 40 and above to contribute to the community and gain job opportunities. This year, it will be conducted on the largest scale ever.
This year, recruitment will be conducted sequentially by sector until March. Participants will be primarily assigned to places in need of care within the community, including welfare facilities for the disabled, elderly, and youth.
Starting from the 19th of this month, the first round will recruit 1,064 people in areas such as school safety and disability support. Recruitment for sectors including education, community welfare, culture, safety, and environment will continue until March.

Applicants must be citizens aged 40 to 67 who reside in Seoul or whose business address is in Seoul. Selected participants will receive a monthly activity allowance of 562,020 KRW (based on 57 hours) for 6 to 8 months depending on the project.
