LG Innotek Relocates Vehicle Motor Production to Pyeongtaek Plant
Operation Only Until the End of This Year

LG Innotek is relocating its Pyeongtaek plant that produces vehicle motors.
According to industry sources on the 18th, LG Innotek plans to operate the Pyeongtaek plant only until the end of this year and relocate production to domestic and overseas sites.
The relocation destination has not been finalized. However, the company intends to continue vehicle motor development in Korea.
The company explained that this is part of a production site restructuring strategy to strengthen competitiveness in the vehicle motor business.
LG Innotek stated, "Our top priority is to guarantee 100% employment for employees working at the Pyeongtaek plant. We will prepare and provide redeployment and customized support plans considering individual circumstances and needs."
