Held This Year's Major Business Plan Reporting Meeting
Ulleung County has unveiled a comprehensive list of key projects to be promoted this year, including the construction of Ulleung Airport and the K-Tourism Island project.
On the 18th, Ulleung County announced that it had held the 2024 Major Work Plan Reporting Meeting starting from the 17th.
The meeting was conducted with department heads and team leaders present, analyzing last year's achievements by department, identifying issues and directions, and discussing plans for this year's key and new projects.
The governor of Ulleung County in South Korea is holding a report meeting on this year's major work plans.

Following the enactment of the "Special Act on Support for Remote Islands on the Outer Edges of the National Territory, including Ulleungdo and Heuksando," the meeting focused intensively on discussions for establishing a comprehensive development plan.

Nam Han-kwon, the governor of Ulleung County, stated, "Thanks to the passion and efforts of public officials last year, the Special Act on Support for Remote Islands on the Outer Edges of the National Territory, a long-awaited project for Ulleung County, was enacted," adding, "Through the comprehensive development plan, let us pursue a great transformation to recover a population of 15,000 and welcome an era of one million tourists."
