On the 18th, the Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that if people send stories about receiving help from Gyeonggi Fire Services, past participation stories in fire safety song contests, or fire prevention poster contests, they will install fire extinguishers and fire alarms in their homes through the 'Residential Fire Safety Equipment Giveaway Event.'
Those who wish to participate in the event can access the QR code on the promotional poster via their mobile phones or visit the Fire and Disaster Headquarters website to fill out an application form and send a story of about 700 characters via email (skjms0000@gg.go.kr) by the 29th of next month.
On-site submissions at the nearest fire station are also possible.
After a review in March, the Fire and Disaster Headquarters will select up to 400 outstanding stories and install three fire alarms per household, one fire extinguisher, and one aerosol-type fire extinguisher in single-family homes and multi-family residences (excluding apartments and dormitories).
Additionally, five outstanding stories and first-time participants in the fire safety song contest and fire prevention poster contest will receive commemorative plaques expressing gratitude.
