WEMAKEPRICE Establishes Global Business Division to Target Direct Purchase Market
Global, Fashion & Beauty, Travel & Performance: Focused Organizational Restructuring in Three Key Areas
WEMAKEPRICE announced on the 17th that it will carry out an organizational restructuring focusing on three core areas: global, fashion & beauty, and travel & performance. WEMAKEPRICE has established a Global Business Division to intensify its efforts in the overseas direct purchase market. Additionally, the Fashion and Beauty departments have been merged into the 'Fashion & Beauty Business Division,' and the Omni Plus department has been promoted to a division to expand its role in the travel sector. The heads of each division have been appointed as follows: ▲ Global Business Division - Lee Seung-wook ▲ Fashion & Beauty Business Division - Min Kyung-deok ▲ Omni Plus Business Division - Kwon Min-soo.
First, the Global Business Division will focus on expanding overseas brands and developing exclusive products to strengthen its capabilities as a leading direct purchase platform. By leveraging the global commerce capabilities of its parent company Qoo10, it plans to build optimized logistics services, collaborate with brands from various countries, and discover exclusive products to differentiate itself. The growth of Indian products, a newly developed market, demonstrated high potential with a monthly average growth rate of 116% last year.

As a popular shopping category accounting for more than 30% of WEMAKEPRICE's total product sales last year, it plans to strengthen specialized sections such as the ultra-low-priced fashion zone '99 Day,' expand brand collaborations, and proactively respond to rapidly changing customer demands. Furthermore, it aims to develop and plan products that can create synergy in connection with affiliated companies.
The Omni Plus Business Division, which recorded a 90% growth rate in travel product transaction volume last year, will nurture 'W Travel & Leisure' as a strategic platform encompassing everything from independent travel to packages and activities. It has signed business agreements with about ten leading domestic travel agencies and plans to offer 100,000 travel and leisure products, while also incorporating real-time overseas hotel accommodation services and an in-house payment system for airline tickets.
