Vaccine Developer Dx&Vx Seeks Overseas Partners at JP Morgan Health Conference
Dx&Vx announced on the 16th that it held partnering meetings with about 30 global pharmaceutical companies and investors at the ‘2024 JP Morgan Healthcare Conference (JPMHC)’ and ‘Biotech Showcase (BTS) 2024’ held in San Francisco, California, USA, and agreed to establish future cooperative relationships.

Dx&Vx discussed the introduction of genetic information testing services such as companion diagnostics and fetal and neonatal testing with global pharmaceutical companies, and agreed to collaborate with new drug developers by providing data necessary for biomarker discovery and new drug development through genome big data services. They also reported that they held discussions on various forms of investment and technological cooperation, including technology export/import, joint research such as clinical trials for technologies expected to have synergy with Dx&Vx’s pipelines under development, and the domestic introduction of overseas pharmaceuticals.
At the Biotech Showcase, where CEO Kwon Kyu-chan was a presenter, there was high interest from global pharmaceutical and bio companies regarding the current pipelines under development, plans to establish a companion diagnostics center locally in Italy, and 'Healthcare 4.0' emphasized by Chairman Lim Jong-yoon of the Kori Group (President of Hanmi Pharmaceutical).

CEO Kwon said, “During the event, various partnering meetings were held across all business areas, from licensing to joint research and genome databases,” adding, “We will create a year where we can make a 'quantum jump' not only through technical collaboration with global companies but also by securing various business items externally.”
