The women's golf competition at the Paris Olympics will be held over four days, from August 7 to 10. The venue is Le Golf National, located near Paris, France. The format is a 4-round, 72-hole stroke play. At the 2000 Tokyo Olympics, Nelly Korda (USA) won the gold medal. The field consists of 60 players. The official Olympic ranking, based on the world rankings, is the standard. The ranking period is from June 13, 2022, to June 24, 2024.
Each country can enter up to two players. If a country has many players ranked within the top 15, that country can have up to four players. The host country, France, is guaranteed one spot. As of the 16th, the Olympic ranking leader is Lilia Vu (USA), followed by Lin Xinning (China) in second, C?line Boutier (France) in third, Minjee Lee (Australia) in fourth, and Korda in fifth. The USA can send up to four players, including Alison Koepka (11th) and Megan Kang (14th).

Following them are Yang Hee-young (16th), Yoo Hae-ran (30th), Lee Ye-won (31st), Park Min-ji (32nd), Choi Hye-jin (36th), Jeon In-ji (37th), Kim Su-ji (38th), Lim Jin-hee (39th), and Lee Da-yeon (40th).
