Attorney Lee Si-hoon 'Jeonse Damage Tenant Litigation Procedure Training'
"Payment orders, deposit refund claims, auctions, and other procedures are complicated, and hiring a lawyer is also financially burdensome." (Kim, a victim of Jeonse fraud in Gangseo-gu)
Seoul's Gangseo-gu (District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) has stepped up to help victims of Jeonse fraud who suffer due to complex and difficult litigation procedures by preparing 'Jeonse Victim Tenant Litigation Procedure Education.'
Last year, after hearing from victims during a comprehensive survey and report meeting on Jeonse fraud damage conducted by the district that they face difficulties due to lack of information on litigation, the district prepared support measures.
The education will be conducted by Attorney Lee Si-hoon, a real estate specialist certified by the Korean Bar Association and author of "The Art of Self-Litigation Completed in One Book." Through the education, Attorney Lee will explain difficult and complex litigation procedures such as solo litigation using electronic litigation and auction and public sale procedures in an easy-to-understand manner.
The education will be held for two hours starting at 2 p.m. on the 20th at the Gangseo-gu Citizens' Hall Ujang Hall, and anyone who needs help with Jeonse fraud litigation procedures can participate. From the 25th, the educational video will also be available through the Gangseo-gu Office YouTube channel.
District Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "This education quickly reflects the demands of victims that the district can address, following 'litigation cost support' and 'opening of online and offline communication channels.' We will communicate with victims and do our best within the district until the Jeonse fraud damage issue is resolved through proper government support policies."
