A Total of 7,733 Cases, 128 Million KRW Imposed on Individuals and Corporations ... Local Taxes
Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 15th that it has imposed 128 million KRW in regular registration license tax on 7,733 cases subject to taxation in January this year.
The regular registration license tax (license portion) is a local tax that is differentially imposed by license type on individuals and corporations holding taxable licenses with a validity period exceeding one year as of January 1 each year, including licenses, permits, approvals, registrations, and reports.
If the business was closed after the tax base date of January 1, the tax is imposed up to that year, and separate from the business closure report to the tax office, the license cancellation must be applied for at the authorized institution.
The payment period is until the 31st of this month, and payment can be made through various methods such as ▲bank counters (including CD/ATM machines) ▲WETAX ▲virtual accounts ▲mobile apps (Smart WETAX app, financial apps) ▲visiting the county office finance department or eup/myeon offices (credit card).
